On this tour, guests are taken on a moderate 1.6 km (1hr 30 mins) return walk while learning about significant places and hearing local history and traditional stories. There are opportunities to learn some Bundjalung language and about bush food, natural medicine, tools, weapons and artefacts.

During the tour, guests often see an abundance of wildlife, such as pods of dolphins, wallabies and the white-bellied sea eagle to name a few. From coastal rainforest to crashing waves and rocky coves, the views on this walk are truly special. We highly recommend that guests wear appropriate shoes and have a waterbottle, hat and sunscreen.

Meeting Place

This tour takes place at Broken Head (184 Beach Road, Broken Head NSW 2481). The meeting place is at the start of the ‘Three Sisters Walking Track’ which is next to Broken Head Holiday Park. Please be mindful that you will need to pay for parking within Broken Head Nature Reserve and it can be very busy, so please allow some time to find a car park.

Spectacular scenery and Information that after 25 yrs of living in Byron was new to me! A fun, moving, brilliant day out, a must for every local to experience so you know the land better where you are living. Loved the Bush Food Tasting at the end and the heart felt presence of Delta, our guide, all day.

This tour is a must do in Byron Bay. We did the Banglow Bush Tour and enjoyed every minute of it. Delta May is an incredible story teller and made the tour very engaging from start to finish. She shared with us the various plants used.
